Jerrell Jackson was born and raised in Houston, TX. He is the youngest of 4 children by Vernon Jackson and Denise Robinson. At a young age, Jerrell excelled in sports where he was a 4-sport athlete throughout most of his grade school years. Jerrell later went on to sign a full athletic scholarship to play football for the University of Missouri. He was known as one of the top receivers in the Big 12 and a huge impact for the Tigers throughout the 2008-2011 seasons. Jerrell served as a team captain for the Tigers his senior year. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences.

Jerrell continued his football career professionally where he later played for the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears, and Kansas City Chiefs. His background in sports taught him how important it is to invest time and money into a healthy body. Since 2012 he has had a passion for motivating others to live a healthier lifestyle. Jerrell has been personal training for 4 years. In 2015, he created Family Fitness Bootcamps in Houston, Texas. He has recently moved to Columbia to further his passion for training and remains committed to changing lives in a positive way.

When Jerrell is not training and inspiring others; he enjoys hobbies such as fishing, biking, yoga, poetry, and movies.
